November 2
10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the ‘Āina Haina Library
"It is fun to have fun
But you have to know how."
For our 1st Saturday, November 2, Hawaiʻi Fiction Writers workshop, there will be a dress code.
“What?!”
Yes, we are asking each person to wear a hat of his or her choosing. Then we will each of us create a character based on your own hat or on another hat in the room. We will be writing and sharing a short (one page) opening scene for a new short story where the hat will be an important detail. Your hat-wearing character can be human or, in the spirit of equal opportunity, an animal (perhaps inspired by our famous friend, the Cat in the Hat).
👉 Reminder! Our 3rd Saturday critique group will meet October 19th, 10 a.m. to noon in the parish hall at Epiphany Episcopal Church in Kaimuki.
