In this interactive workshop, participants will learn techniques for finding the unique voice of their written characters, and bringing each to life in public readings. Brett will provide helpful tricks, tips and tools to help develop a more performative presence in live readings, with distinct character voices, dialects, and memorable traits. Come with samples of your writing that present clear and diverse voices, tones and qualities. This is gonna be a lot of fun!

The workshop is open to Hawaiʻi Fiction Writers members and non-members alike. We ask our guests to bring an open mind and be prepared to create!
